How do I book you for my wedding?
The first step is to fill out my inquiry form, and I’ll be in touch to schedule a Zoom call with both of you. We’ll chat about your expectations, plans, questions, my process, work, and everything in between.

If we find it’s a solid match, I’ll send over a brochure with collection options for the two of you to review.

A 30% non-refundable retainer & signed agreement is required to reserve the date. After that, you’re locked in and we are in it! WOO!

What’s included when I hire you to photograph my wedding?
Wedding day coverage ranges from 6-10 hours, with a la carte options for additional hours, second photographers, and additional services.

Your final edited gallery with high-resolution images will include a minimum of 50-70 images per hour. Options for album design will open up to you after your gallery is delivered as well.

All wedding collections come with a complimentary engagement session, which includes a minimum of 30-40 images per hour, as well as assistance planning your session, choosing a location, and selecting outfits.

How many images will I receive?
Putting a hard number on these is always tough, but at minimum, you can expect about 50-70 images per hour for weddings and 30-40 images per hour for engagement sessions.

When will I receive my gallery?
Wedding galleries take about 8-10 weeks for me to edit & send your way. However, I’ll send you a generous gallery of b-e-a-utiful previews within 7 days of your wedding day to hold you over until the final gallery is all done.

Engagement session galleries take about 4-6 weeks to complete & deliver.

How will I receive my images?
All your files will be sent to you in an online gallery for immediate download. High-resolution files are available for the primary clients only; web resolution will be available for all other family members & vendors.

You’ll receive personal printing rights to all your images, so feel free to print through the gallery website or take them wherever you heart desires.

Note: Your gallery is available for download for one calendar year, and it’s your responsibility to download to your computer or phone.

Can I have RAW files or unedited images?
That’s a naw for me, dawg.

How do you feel about having a “first look” or a moment alone together before the day starts?
I’m all for it. Nerves hit differently on a wedding day — they flutter around and make you feel totally out of your element. And then you feel a wave of relief when you see your person… you know, the one you spend every day with. The one you roll over to see in the morning. The one you share coffee with. The one you fight over folding laundry with.

That same person is all gussied up, but they’re with you. And for a moment, you get to just be you two. Because, before all of this chaos and celebration, it was just you two… and after, it will be just you two. So, why not make time to just be… just you two.

How much is it to work with you?
Talking about money is hard. But photographs are the one physical reminder of this precious day that remains after the dust settles. My wedding collections for celebrations in Northeast Ohio start at $3600 with the average couple investing about $4200. All wedding collections come with a complimentary engagement session.

That feels like a big investment. What’s the deal?
First and foremost, it’s been years in the making to get to this point, where I know your investment in me is just as valuable as my investment in you. I know what it’s like to plan a wedding… to add up the numbers, and to feel like, “Holy shit. Is this really what it costs to throw a wedding?!”

Yes, it’s an investment. And photography is one that’s wildly important. I’ll be with you in the trenches. I’ll be your right hand man… your source of information from day one. I’ll be the one helping you plan your timeline, coordinating with planners & vendors, and making sure locations are perfect and you have everything you need.

I take this responsibility seriously, because I know the gravity of my job. I’m holding onto precious cargo. And because of that, I’ve worked tirelessly to ensure my clients know that they are investing wisely in me, the same way I am in them.

If I pay in cash, can I get a discount?
No.

Do we get every image in both black & white and color?
Nope. But trust me, I got you on this. As your photographer, I’ll take into consideration what feels best to be in black & white versus color. At the end of it all, if you have a handful you’d like to put into black & white, we can do that. But it won’t be for all images.

How long do engagement sessions usually last?
Engagement sessions tend to last about 60-90 minutes, depending on the flow of the session, the location, and the people involved.

I try not to rush this process, but I also try not to draw it out past the 2 hour mark.

Should we bring outfit changes to our engagement session?
I don’t push a plethora of outfit changes, because it’s a whole lot of hassle. Wear what feels like you, what looks natural, and what won’t clash with the environment we’re working in.

I’ll ask you to text me outfit ideas before your session, and I’ll provide guidance on what will look the best for you guys.

Can I bring my dog to our engagement session?
Yes you may, but I kindly ask that you do not bring any pets with reactivity issues. This means if they take a long time to warm up to strangers, have lashed out in the past, are easily distracted, or will take up a lot of our energy.

I absolutely love doggos (I have two of my own), but I find they really deter from the energy of a session if the dog isn’t used to being in public. Please use your best judgment. I cannot be in charge of wrangling a dog for photos on top of making sure you’re comfortable.

Can I bring my mom or friend or whoever to our session?
Please, no. It’s a little weird to have someone watch us while you’re having such an intimate time documented. I politely ask that you do not bring an audience. If someone is coming along to handle your dog, they can come grab that pupper, say hello ,and depart.

I read your contract — that shit is intense. Can I make some changes? My dad/uncle/friend/cousin’s neighbor is a lawyer and said…
My contract has been looked over with a fine-toothed comb. It’s for you and for me. I’ve worked really hard to ensure we’re cared for, and, God forbid the worst case scenario happens, that we’re covered.

So, politely, no. We will not make any changes to it. Period. Please don’t ask me. It’s awkward. It’s the most business-y thing we do together, promise.

Are you insured?
Absolutely. All my gear. Me. Yes.

What gear do you use?
Canon bish over here! I use a Canon 5D Mark IV and a Canon 5D Mark III. Both are my ride or die.
